Most animal funk is used to tell other animals different things. For example dogs can be trained to smell low blood sugar in diabetics, people can tell what you've eaten by your sweat, and chemosignals can reveal emotions, like if you're stressed, or happy.
大部分动物身上的浓烈臭味是用来向其他动物传达不同的讯息，例如狗狗经过训练后可以嗅出糖尿病患者是否血糖过低、别人可以透过你的汗味知道你刚刚吃了什么东西、还有身上的一些“化学讯号”会透露你的情绪，像是你是感到有压力，还是感到很开心。
