They are distributed in themountainous areas of southwest and northwest of China.
Being too far away from big cities, the minority ethnic groups are poor ineconomy and there people are not well-educated. They have very fewunderstandings of science and technology. So they must develop theireconomy.
To help the people of the minority ethnic groups live better, thegovernment should take some effective measures. For one thing, more and moreknowledgeable undergraduates should be encouraged to those poor areas to helpthe people there to get rid of their poverty.
